For this year’s limited Cask Strength release, the whisky was initially aged in new American Oak barrels, known for imparting rich, vanilla and caramel flavors. To elevate the depth and complexity further, 75% of the whisky was then finished in new French Oak barrels. This finishing process infuses the whisky with an additional layer of sophistication, offering subtle notes of apple, honey, and delicate spice.
