Maker’s Mark Bourbon
Bill Samuels, Sr. set out to create a whiskey he would truly enjoy – smooth, never bitter, and full of flavor. Maker’s Mark is crafted with soft red winter wheat, replacing the usual rye, creating a distinct, rich bourbon taste. To maintain quality, each barrel is hand-rotated, and aging is based on flavor, not time.
Every bottle of Maker’s Mark is still hand-dipped in our signature red wax at our distillery in Loretto, KY, just as Bill Samuels, Sr. envisioned.

Maker’s Mark Gold Rush
A refreshing cocktail with honey syrup, fresh lemon, and Maker’s Mark bourbon, the Gold Rush is a balanced sweet-and-sour drink sure to be a staple in your bar.
Ingredients:
- 2 parts Maker’s Mark Bourbon
- 3/4 part honey syrup
- 3/4 part fresh squeezed lemon juice
- Lemon wedge for garnish
Instructions:
Mix honey and hot water to create syrup. Let cool. Add Maker’s Mark bourbon, lemon juice, and honey syrup to an ice-filled shaker. Shake well and strain over ice into a rocks glass. Garnish with a lemon wedge.
Maker’s Mark Brown Derby
A zesty cocktail featuring Maker’s Mark bourbon, grapefruit juice, and honey syrup, perfect for sipping on any occasion.
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ parts Maker’s Mark Bourbon
- 1 part grapefruit juice
- ½ part honey syrup
- Grapefruit peel twist for garnish
Instructions:
Shake Maker’s Mark, grapefruit juice, and honey syrup with ice. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with a grapefruit peel twist.
Maker’s Mark New York Sour
A classic bourbon cocktail with a twist, featuring a float of red wine on top for an added layer of flavor.
Ingredients:
- 2 parts Maker’s Mark Bourbon
- 1 part lemon juice
- 1 egg white (optional)
- ¾ part simple syrup
- Red wine for a float
- Lemon peel and cherry for garnish
Instructions:
Combine Maker’s Mark, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white (if using) in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Carefully float red wine on top and garnish with lemon peel and a cherry.
